In the presence of his brothers in arms, the ashes of William H. Tucker, who died on 28 November 2008 in the United States, have been filed in a monument in Normandy, according to his last wishes. He belonged to I Company, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division. Representatives from the U.S. Army were also present.
