Ceremonies: There were many vintage vehicles from the Second World War in Normandy during the commemorations of the 65th anniversary of the D-Day landings. These vehicles came from France, Belgium, Holland, the United Kingdom, and elsewhere. Gatherings of motorcycles, armoured vehicles and transport vehicles, as well as flyovers by Second World War aircraft, took place at various locations near the D-Day beaches.
