Wn 40 strongpoint – Atlantic wall in Normandy

The Wn 40 strongpoint, located at the place of the Puits d’Hérodes, was abandoned by the Germans at the beginning of 1944. The sector is under the responsibility of the battery of Longues-sur-Mer (Wn 48).
