Atlantic wall

The Wn 21 is located in Lion-sur-Mer. It includes several shelters and ammunition bunkers as well as two auxiliary observatories working for the Colleville-sur-Orne battery (Wn 16). It is nicknamed “Trout” by the Allies.

Composition of the Wn 21 strongpoint:

  • 1x 7,5 cm gun
  • 2x 5 cm KWK L/42 guns
  • 1x 8,14 cm Gr.W 34 mortar
