Atlantic wall

To the south of Bernières-sur-Mer, at the Moulin, the Wn 28a is armed by the 7th battalion of the 1716th regiment of artillery (7./AR 1716) and includes four 100 mm horse-drawn howitzers ordered by the Hauptmann (captain) Wilhelm Franke. Only one of these guns is placed under a concrete shed of type H 669.
