The Wn 51 strongpoint, also known as Stp 51 and nicknamed “Languste”, is located northwest of Longues-sur-Mer. Composed of a H668 type shelter and a semaphore served by personnel of the Kriegsmarine, the German navy, this defensive position allows the realization of observation and signal missions for the artillery batteries in the area.
