In the context of my research on the history of the Normandy landings and the Battle of Normandy, the testimonies of witnesses or direct actors of these historical events represent an invaluable wealth. Very often, these documents make it possible to clarify or even correct official accounts left by the war diaries of the armed forces. As I regularly write articles and books on Operation Overlord, I continually research these information.
