D-Day 74th anniversary

This page presents the calendar of the various exhibitions dedicated to the Battle of Normandy and organized on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the landings and the Battle of Normandy in 2018.

• From Saturday, May 26 to Sunday, May 27, 2018

Sainte-Mère-Eglise (50)
– 10th “History and Memories” Book Fair at the Salle des Fêtes. Approximately fifty guest authors will be present. Free admission. Information: +33 2 33 04 60 19.

• From Saturday, June 2 to Monday, June 4, 2018

Sainte-Mère-Eglise (50)
– 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.: Military vehicle exhibition, Place Chenevière, next to the Joint Forces Village, on Rue du Général de Gaulle and Rue Eisenhower.

• From Friday, June 15th to Sunday, June 17th, 2018

Chef-du-Pont (50)
– 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.: “Civilians in the Summer of ’44 in Normandy” exhibition at the Salle de la Petite Vitesse. Free admission. Organized by: Summer of ’44 Local Heritage Association.
