2019 D-Day commemorations photos – 75th anniversary of the Normandy landings
This ceremony, organized on June 6, 2019 as part of the 75th anniversary of the Normandy landings by the D-Day Overlord association and the commune of Sainte-Marie-du-Mont, honors the leaders and military leaders engaged in the field during Operation Overlord. It took place in the presence of French officials, American soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division, actors of the “Band of Brothers” series and dozens of spectators who came to commemorate the success of the Allied armies, thanks in particular to these executives who engaged the fight and accompanied their men for the success of the liberation.
