2019 D-Day commemorations photos – 75th anniversary of the Normandy landings

On June 6, 2019, many collectors and reenactors gathered on the beach Arromanches-les-Bains to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Normandy landings. From DUKW amphibious vehicles, flowers were launched at sea in memory of the missing soldiers. Bagpipers have tried to sound their instrument in the middle of the remains of the artificial port of Arromanches.

The demonstration team of the French Air Force, the “Patrouille de France“, performed its show above the town while at the top of the plateau overlooking the cliffs, an impressive monument in memory of the heroes D-Day was inaugurated.
