Frederick Glover and Ted Pieri, two veterans of British Airborne Divisions, made their big jump on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at the Merville Battery. For a good cause…
One is Frederick Glover. The other is Ted Pieri. They are both veterans of British Airborne Divisions and are 90 years old. This age didn’t stop them from parachuting together on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at the Merville Battery.
The goal? To raise funds for the London-based organization The Taxi Charity, which organizes activities for veterans. It was also an opportunity to pay tribute to their comrades.
