Il a déja été dit sur ce forum que m.Winters ne répondait plus. Pense a te présenter dans "Nouveaux Arrivants".

Il souffre de la maladie de Parkinson et ne souhaite plus répondre aux nombreuses lettres qu'il reçoit.
Il souhaite finir ses jours en paix.

The Major is now 89 years old and suffers from Parkinson's disease. His mind is a sharp as ever, and over all he is doing well. He would like to remind you that he does not feel he is a hero, but that he served with a company of heroes.

It is with deep regret that we have to let you know that Major Winters is no longer signing autographs, he is no longer making any pubic appearances, nor is he accepting mail of any kind.

Please look up a Veteran in your home town and thank him or go to any of the Veterans reunions and say thank you to them in person.

It is with deep regret that we have to inform you that Dick is no longer signing pictures, books, posters, making personal appearances, or meeting groups or individuals. . Any mail from persons unknown will be disposed of and not answered. Any packages containing books will be refused at the post office. We feel it is time to retire and get some much needed peace and quiet in our golden years.
