Alors là, voila bien des argument bidons. Voila mes arguments :
j´entretiens une corespondance avec un vétéran de la 1st US division. Voila ce que je lui ai demandé :
"Pouriez vous, s´il vous plait, me parler des défenses que vous avez eu à affronter avec votre compagnie ?. .."

""For me, it is difficult to say it : i was 22 in 1944 and after the D-Day i have fought in "Bretagne", in Belgium, in "Alsace" and in Germany. So it is difficult for me, because i am very old. I just remember that there were a lot of machingun emplacment, trenches and 2 very importants bunker. There was german soldiers from "Osttruppen" in the trenches. My squad leader sayed to me : "Ok, there are 2 importants bunker with 88 artillery guns. It will be difficult.", but the 2 bunkers weren´t very important : there was 2 88 guns in and 12 men. I can say also that there were any hill at Bloody Omaha, just a sand shingle. There was also a lot of barbed and anti-tanks obstacles. (...) A lot of our soldiers died at Omaha beach, but the two big bunkers haven´t done much dommage : when we had dstroy barbed, the nazis soldiers who were in the two bunkers fall back in trenches. I thank you very much to remember all the us soldiers who died 60 years ago to stop the nazis opression in Europe and in your country."
Cet homme s´apelle William Peached. Il est né en 1922 et il a rejoint la 1st us division juste avant le débarquement de Normandie. Il a terminé la guerre en tant que staff sergeant (ce grade n´a pas d´équivalent en France). Je correspond avec lui depuis 1 an. Il habite Johntown, petite ville d´Oklahoma. Il m´a demandé de ne pas divulguer son adresse; Je corespond également avec Richard Winters, le fameux chef de la Easy company, depuis 2 ans. Et je pense qu´un vétérant de la Normandie en sait plus que toi et moi ansi que les forumers d´autres forums sur le débarquement à Omaha. Pour ton information, ces 2 grands bunker furent détruits dans les années 50, des maçons normands ayants récupérés le ciment avant l´arrété préfectoral interdisant de se servir des bunkers à des fins personnelles (1962).
