Forum D-Day Overlord

Hello, I am the daughter of a "Maquisard" , unfortunately,now passed away and would like to combine my passion for Normandy and the genuine interest I have for the events which took place in 39.45.Now,having visited the region, the various displays and monuments so many times, I wonder if someone could help me get in touch with individuals who , would like to attend the D Day commemorations in June 13, but will need assistance to get around or help with translation. I am lalso looking to get in touch with organisations involved in the celebrations, as I will be available to assist, translate, accompany (I am of French origin, English has been my first language since the 80's)and generally provide a service of all-round help, to all who share my passion for Normandy and the wonderful opportunity to be part of the a piece of history.
Any suggestions?

Ayant visité la région et l'espace historique à bien des reprises, je me demande si quelqu'un pourrait me mettre en contact avec des personnes qui se rendent en Normandie pour les commémorations du Jour-J le 13 juin 2013, car je vais avoir besoin d'aide pour me rendre sur place et pour que l'on me traduise certaines choses. To answer your request, maybe you can get in touch with "Overlord Tour" => they're focus on visiting the different memorial sites in Normandy.
They are selling tours in Normandy all over the years.
Otherwise, if you're looking for reenacting events, there are a lot planned for June 2013; just feel free to send me a Private Message so that we can deal this point.
