Wn 16, nicknamed the Morris position, is located west of Colleville-sur-Orne (today Colleville-Montgomery) and represents an important point of support in the region, where the second battery of the 1716th Artillery Regiment (716. Infantry Division). H669 casemates protect the parts from aerial bombardment.

Composition of the Wn 16 strongpoint:

  • 4x 100 mm hippomobile guns (le.FH14/19 -f-)
