The Wn 43 strongpoint, located on the beach of the seaside resort of Arromanches-les-Bains, consists of a casemate type H612, a casemate type H667 (still under construction at the time of the landing of June 6, 1944) and several shelters and tobrouks.

Composition of the Wn 43 strongpoint:

  • 1x 105 mm (le.GebH 332 -f-) howitzer
