67th anniversary of the Normandy landings

Location: Courseulles-sur-Mer
Date: 6 June 2011

Ceremony: It took place at the Juno Beach Centre in Courseulles-sur-Mer (Juno Beach) and was intended to pay tribute to the courage of Canadian soldiers, sailors and airmen. Several Canadian and British veterans and, among other dignitaries, representatives of the First Hussars, Queen’s Own Rifles and 4th Anti-Aircraft Regiment braved the cold on Monday, 6 June 2011.
