Ceremonies/Events: As part of the 70th anniversary of the Normandy landings and the Battle of Normandy, several ceremonies and events took place at Sainte-Mère-Eglise, in the presence of dozens of veterans and an impressive crowd of enthusiasts and visitors, while U.S. Air Force C-130 aircraft regularly flew over the site.
