Ceremonies/Events: As part of the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings and the Battle of Normandy, several ceremonies and events took place at Utah Beach, attended by dozens of veterans and an impressive crowd of enthusiasts and visitors. A special tribute was paid to the Navajo Indians who participated in the D-Day landings to encrypt the signals of the American forces.
