Numerous ceremonies took place on this sunny weekend of June 5-6, 2004. Many were guests, passersby, and enthusiasts, now filled with melancholy about those hours spent in the company of veterans of the Great Day. Many people did not have the chance or the opportunity to attend the ceremonies marking the 60th anniversary of the Allied landings in Normandy.
