Battle of Normandy

Three fighter squadrons and two light and heavy bomber squadrons (who had previously fought in North Africa) of the Free French Air Force (FFAF) took part in Operation Neptune on the night of June 5 to 6, 1944. Other squadrons took part in the Battle of Normandy.

342th Squadron Lorraine 1/20

602nd Squadron “City of Glasgow”

Alsace, Berry, Cigogne and Île-de-France fighter groups.
