Utah Beach (50)
– June 5, 2016 at 1:00 a.m.: 1st edition of the historical hike “The Longest Night” in the footsteps of the American paratroopers and infantrymen engaged on June 6, 1944, in the Cotentin Peninsula. A 6- to 7-hour walk through the parachute drop zones with historical commentary, then arrival at dawn at Utah Beach. Bring suitable footwear, warm, waterproof clothing, and a flashlight. Period attire is permitted, but weapons are not permitted. Places limited to 20 people: FULL EVENT. Organization: D-Day Overlord Association.
