On Saturday, June 4, 2016, a ceremony in homage to the Commonwealth soldiers who fell during the Second World War and buried in Normandy took place at the British military cemetery in Ranville.
It was organized by the association D-Day Overlord with the assistance of the Royal British Legion, in the presence of elected officials, a veteran and high school students from Neuilly-sur-Seine.
Under the Commonwealth Poppies program, the D-Day Overlord Association sponsors war graves of Commonwealth soldiers buried in Normandy.
