2017 D-Day Commemorations photos
On June 6, 2017, on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the Normandy landings, the D-Day Overlord association, in partnership with the Utah Beach Museum and the Sainte-Marie-du-Mont town hall, held a ceremony at the Leadership Monument.
This commemoration, organized in memory of all the officers and tactical leaders who participated in the D-Day, took place in the presence of General Andrew P. Poppas, commander the 101st Airborne Division, and representatives of the towns of Carentan and Sainte-Marie-du-Mont.
