« With more than 110,000 visitors this year, compared to 76,000 in 2016, the establishment [Editor’s note: D-Day Experience in Saint-Côme-du-Mont], which has benefited since 2016 from a unique experience with its flight simulator that realistically immerses visitors in the shoes of the 101st Paratroopers, should reach even higher levels in terms of attendance. There is no shortage of projects.
As we have been informed, Emmanuel Allain [Editor’s note: Director of the D-Day Experience] has just signed the building permit for a new expansion, which should see the day for the commemorations of the 75th anniversary of the landing. A 4K cinema – the first of its kind in the region – with a capacity of 200 seats, where films and documentaries about the landing will be shown. A space that should allow it to establish its leadership in the sector.«
