Commemorations of the 63rd anniversary of the Normandy landings
Location: Amfreville (Manche)
Date: 9 June 2007
Event: Parachuting in period dress from a Dakota C-47 aircraft carried out on June 9, 2007 at 3 p.m. in Amfreville by members of the Liberty Jump association, in the presence of veterans Jake McNiece (deceased in 2013), member of the “Filthy Thirteen” belonging to the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division and Reed Pelfrey (deceased in 2013), having belonged to the Pathfinders (scouts) of the HQ company, 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division.
