D-Day and Battle of Normandy museums

The Memorial Museum of Civilians in War is installed since May 8, 2016 in Falaise. Through 1000 m² of exhibition, you can discover exceptional testimonies of survivors, a collection of remarkable objects of everyday life and unpublished archives from the funds of the Caen Memorial and the inhabitants of Falaise and its region.

Each of the three floors of the memorial focuses on three different themes allowing successively understanding the Occupation, Liberation and Reconstruction. Visitors can immerse themselves in the incredible history of these trained civilians in the Second World War, which killed more than 35 million of them.
