Subject: report on the arrival in Normandy of the first units of the 2nd French Armoured Division landing in the Utah Beach sector, near Saint-Martin-de-Varreville. The French soldiers are transported aboard Landing Ship Tanks, which land men and equipment directly on the beach. The French display their joy and their blue, white and red flags with the Cross of Lorraine.
