69th anniversary of the Normandy landings
Locations: Bénouville and Ranville
Dates: 5, 6 and 8 June 2013
Ceremonies: tributes (5, 6 and 8 June 2013) to the airborne soldiers commanded by Major Howard of the 6th Airlanding Brigade belonging to the 6th Airborne Division, who captured the bridges between Bénouville and Ranville on the night of 5 to 6 June 1944.
